I think we may have joined...

the weavers and loomers guild of Stratford upon Avon...we shall be going along on every 3rd Friday of the month to 'learn' things.

Today I was going to start painting the breakfast room but then Mr W brother and his long term love EMMA* phoned and said let's go to Mary Ardens house where there is a craft type day and also some vegetable competition... so we Withers set off on our bicycles to MARY ARDENS HOUSE.. that is the key name here....and we got half way up the canal tow path Mr W got a phone call to say 'By the way we are at the wrong house,you need to be at Anne Hathaways.....' which is JUST DOWN THE BLOODY ROAD FROM US !!! about turn... and cycle back toward where we have chuffing well come from.
Anyhoo when we got there is was a reduced price entry and it was jolly good value for money as there were FREE make and do stalls,so the girls made hair garlands and did some weaving and we had ice cream and watched some local youths re-enacting 'Midsummer nights dream' all through this woodland walk.All in all it was one of those 'jolly hocky stick's' days rahhh rahhh very English and all that :D
