Diary of an Edinburgher

Three-leg Archie!

We both managed the gym this morning. Which was just about all the exercise I did, apart from hanging out washing. Too much tennis on. Andy never looked like getting any further than the quarter finals, though.

JR was busy all day taking Archie to the Links in between shopping, cleaning, ironing, making cakes, so I felt guilty enough to take him up the hill this evening for a bonus run, as it looked like a bit of a Federer walkover.

And it was SO lovely up the hill - warm, still, fluffy clouds, plenty of parking (often can't get a park during the day because of all the building work going on). I tried a pano at the top - I've been using them in Norway a bit.

I'm on a new regime of regular paracetamol - and I think it's helping with the pain levels. This time last year I had my first knee done, and while I'm not exactly delighted with the progress, I shouldn't really complain. I can get to the top of the hill relatively easily now, and I remember really really struggling with my old knees.

We binge watched 'Nobel' last night - only one episode to go.
