I Broke AH14!
Oops! But not irreparably broken!
We were up at the crack of dawn to get to Minions and The Hurler stone circles for sunrise! We made our way to Rillaton Barrow just in time to get the sun kissed sheep! I'd taken hot cross buns and coffee but it was a mite chilly so we had breakfast in the car!
We had thought we'd have a restorative nap then head into Plymouth as AH14 needed an SD card as she knew she didn't have enough memory for her stay and I wanted a new computer. For nearly a year my laptop has been overheating and has been sat upon 3 ceramic bowls to allow air to circulate, and still it would suddenly shut down due to overheating. Lately I've been using a fan to keep it cool - and have felt wind blown as a result! I've been convinced that any day the thing would go into permanent meltdown!
Anway - after coming home via the allotment to do my hen duty, I decided after our second breakfast of Greek yogurt, blueberries from my allotment and Tamar honey, that in fact a nap would actually lead me to feel headachy, so best we went to Plymouth and had a nap on our return. As we were going into Plymouth I decided to show Ah14 the Lido, Plymouth Hoe and the Barbican, and since I planned to buy an iMac to do this first rather than leave it in the boot of my car! It was at this point on the drive in that AH14 crashed! I think lack of sleep, the gentle movement of the car and my incessant chatting were just too much for her!
Well what fun taking photographs of buildings and concrete, and using my zoom lens - which I only seem to have used with a tripod recently and even then not that often! Well I zoomed to my hearts content and AH14 changed lenses frequently! We were treated to a warshiop being brought in by 2 pilots as we made our way round the Lighthouse! On the way out of Plymouth we got caught in the rush hour traffic and I didn't have the stamina for the lane changing and immense roundabout to get to PCWorld - so we headed on homeward, intending to get a chinese takeaway en route. However I did a detour via Halton Quay and the gorgeous little chapel, and so we didn't go via Callington and the chinese and it wasn't until AH14 asked about it that I realised! So I cooked again! A bit later I went to do my hen duty and AH14 stayed at home - she was flagging! Early night for her, usual later night for me and more fun to be had tomorrow!
I have stressed over what to process and blip as two extreme sets of photos and really no time to take my time over them! So simply had to pick out some from the start and the afternoon and then somehow choose! So the Lido it is! Sun kissed sheep as extra and AH14 here on the Hoe plus more sheep!
