As the sun sets.....

.....on another day full of memories, friendships, landscapes, laughter and sadness.  What a day.  

Hobbs, Beckett and Jensphoto took Doug & I on the grand tour of lookouts, escarpments, vistas, sisters (three of), and so much more. Amazing place these Blue Mountains, we squeezed in a coffee before heading to Trisharooni's lovely home to enjoy company, friendships and a scrumptious lunch, laced with bubbles and endless pots of tea.  Finished off with the most amazing (never seen one like it) Black Forest cake of huge proportions.  Totally brilliant.
Then the Wombat took us to three of her favourite places - the areas were shrouded in smoke haze (from controlled burnoffs) which made for some very moody landscapes....I've popped one in extra, the other is of Barb & I, a photo I will treasure always

Thank you, thank you Blackheath blippers and others further afield - your friendships and hospitality is second to none.
And lastly, the biggest thank you has to go to Barb & ccn for opening up their home and giving Doug and I such a wonderful three days, they are so thoughtful, so enthusiastic and we will be forever grateful for their friendships.
