Positive messages

With some colleagues I spent the day at Rossie secure unit near Montrose. We had an informative presentation and discussion with the senior team and some key workers.

During a visit round the unit where we met some of the young people placed there for their safety I saw this board. It was filled with post it's with a variety of messages. I particularly liked this one.

It seemed very apt for one young person who was getting ready to move out of the secure area to the supported residential unit at Rossie. That young person had just been informed that they were to move to a different unit in Scotland on Monday. So all the planning and preparation ovrr weeks with the staff they knew went out the window . On Monday they would start up with new people and teams.

I hope they drew inspiration from the post it.
