Sunshine, Chris and Poppy

It was a glorious morning so I met Chris and her puppy Poppy for 15,000 steps around the moor. I came home to cook for friends coming to eat with us tonight but sadly R is ill so we’ll have them another time. However we’ll still catch up with Linda and Colin before he departs for a working visit to New Orleans in the morning.

I’m making a faffy salad from Thomasina Myers which involves making an aoeli with pears, roasting hazelnuts, grilling bacon, shredding celery and more. And that’s just the starter!
