New toy

My new bike arrived today! And indeed, it is now fully assembled and awaiting my efforts tomorrow morning. It took me quite a long time to put it together, but I'm a seasoned Ikea flat pack assembler and did not give up. Though I did have to check the YouTube video on getting the tension hooked up correctly

What a super day it was again - blue skies, no wind, crisp and cold. Perfect for dog walking, but I had to attend my final follow up about my bowel operation three years ago, which meant spending a lovely day sitting in waiting rooms. But today it was a bit more interesting because I was sent to another clinic, then it was wrong one, in the wrong building. A nice young chap escorted me along corridors, down lifts, round and about. But good on the NHS - they will check on me again in 2020.

JR took Archie up the hill. He had his smart tartan coat on, but apparently this put him in such a bad mood, he was grumping and harrumphing at everything all afternoon. She took some fab photos, it was hard to choose. Well done, JR.
