Big waves at Yesnaby (Day 995)

We took advantage of Mum and Dad's house last night, staying there while they are away south - a bit like having a wee holiday. This morning, we had a nice wander along the shore at Stromness in a very cold breeze.
We returned to the house for a bit of a potter about and some more coffee before making for Yesnaby for a walk along the cliffs.
The strong wind was chilly, but it was good to be out. The rain and snow we have had recently have left the ground wetter than I have ever seen it at Yesnaby and the dogs got utterly filthy. Another walker stopped to ask us if Sigyn and Talisker are wolves.
Back at home I got on with a bit of paperwork and sorting out of the work diary for next week whilst  my  beautiful wife went to a birthday party in town.
