Colzium

It was a relatively short walk with Cumbernauld & Kilsyth Ramblers this morning. We started in Kilsyth town centre and walked through Burngreen Park towards the Colzium Estate. We passed Banton Loch and, after a break in front of Colzium House, we walked up the glen beside Colzium Burn for a short while before making our way along some of the estate paths back to the town centre.

We were delighted to see quite a few clumps of snowdrops in the Walled Garden (see extra), always a good sign at this time of year. These were the first I had seen this year, although I had seen photos of others in the past few days.
