Thursday: Staircase

It was a crazy busy day today. At least the new IT is playing ball which is quite helpful.

Meetings and telephone calls this morning and this afternoon the first half of a two day workshop on natural hazard mitigation. I had a speaking role in it which went ok.

And then I hosted a dinner for the conference participants tonight. There were about forty and we ate at 'Joe Forte's'. Forty at Forte, which I thought was pretty nifty.

The meeting today was at one of Simon Fraser University's downtown campuses which has a pretty nice interior.
