Diary of an Edinburgher

NOT AGAIN!

Gym✔️

In fact three out of four residents went to the gym! Two of them, amazingly enough, were knocking at the door before it was even open.

Woke up to a fresh dollop of snow. Bob cleared the front path, but he didn’t use a spade. How sensible. Archie had a frolic in the back garden before rapidly getting covered in snow balls. I texted his two walkers to say I didn’t think they should come because of the snow, but they hadn’t even looked out of the window, so that was a wee surprise.

Elizabeth wasn’t to be put off of course, so she came as usual. Her whole family went for a pub lunch in her car. And Archie wasn’t sick! Mind you, they were ready for him, with newspapers spread out and a poo bag to hand! Perhaps, now that he's four, he's outgrown his car sickness...

Our guests took us out for a tapas lunch. Everyone was pleased with their dishes, though we were all quite possessive about them - there was no sharing going on. We all managed a dessert, and now we're too stonkered to have any tea.

Let's hope the snow is gone for good tomorrow, this has just gone on TOO LONG.
