Cragside

The children slept till 9 after their late night. The decided they’d like to go to Cragside which was a great idea as it started off sunny. We were there 5 hours, playing in the adventure playground, making dens, walking round the lake, climbing and jumping on rocks.

Mr C made a treat of mince and tatties, his signature dish for their mum and her sisters when they were little. Ella ate all her mince but left her tatties, whereas Nathaniel ate the potatoes but didn’t like the mince.

Now they are chilling out with Paddington before (hopefully) having an early night.
