Easter Egg Painting

There was no chance of an outdoor rolling of decorated hard-boiled eggs today, out of having the egg hunt in the garden, as it snowed all day. It was wet slippy snow, not at all pleasant.

However it meant more effort to keep the 3, 4, 5 and 6 year olds.busy. Of course they play together at imaginary games, but we also painted the eggs, hunted for tiny chocolate ones all over the house, painted monsters, made chocolate cornflake nests for the tiny eggs and licked licked the bowls clean.

It was good fun though. They all get on well and it is easier now they are not toddlers. However we are shattered. Now we have to sort out stuff for our trip.
