Sycamore Gap, Hadrian’s Wall

We had a relaxed breakfast with Chris after Rick left with his cycling group, then Chris and I walked into Skipton so that she could show me some of her new favourite places.

It took only 30 minutes to reach Sabden where we had lunch with an old school friend of mine. He has a lung disease and is on oxygen 16 hours a day, but both he and his wife were cheerful and getting on with what had been thrown their way.

It was 3 hours home via M6 and the Military road from where I took the blip. There are new speed restrictions so I was able to take the picture from the car. In the past Mr C would be enjoying the roller coaster of the ride.

It is cold and snow is forecast.
