Thank you everyone for the lovely thoughtful comments on Mum's blipday, she loved attention and she'd love knowing she's on the front page of blip.

A productive couple of sessions of video conference calls today interspersed with the frustration of just how annoying computers can be.
But.... Great news, something I've been working on for a while now is finally confirmed, flights are booked for May and a training itinerary planned and confirmed.
I'm off to Tortola, Anegarda and some of the smaller islands of the British Virgin Islands to train Red Cross workers and local volunteers in Outdoor Emergency First Aid. We've put together a plan to train people straight away, but also to build in future resilience and leave a legacy, a train the future trainers concept. I've kept waiting for someone high up in the RC to pull the plug, but they've decided they want the very best training....
