Holiday

Sometimes all it takes to make things special is a couple of minutes' effort. We could have sat indoors reading but there's a bench that comes with the house, so we moved it across the road and took out our books and a bottle of fizz plus a blanket just in case it got a bit chilly.

Finally bloody finished 'The Descent Of Man'! Only 145 pages but it’s taken me over a month to read! That’s mainly because I simply haven’t found time to pick it up but also because I simply agree with pretty much everything in it. In that respect - and *only* that respect - it was a bit boring. This should be required reading for teenagers, though!
I enjoyed his writing and I would give this as a gift (although not sure to whom). It’s a 4.
