Hot Wheels

I'm sad to say goodbye to these vehicles! The Thomas bike was both Betsy and Al's first bike, and the red one taught them both to ride without stabilisers, as it did our friend Flynn, who now cycles round on the bike that Al had next. Al loved that Superman scooter too, I hadnt realised until now that Al loved comic book heroes even then, though now I think about it, two of his favourite soft toys before he was even two were a Superman and a Spider-man. (See how I'm so geeky I even put the hyphen in).

Anyway, I was passing them on to Nibs. She obviously has Chantelle now, who is one, but also her niece, G, who is two, and her nephew Louis who is three and they often stay with her. So, hopefully they will continue to be loved and used and hopefully passed on some more, which is better than gathering cobwebs in our shed.

Had a nice day with Nibs and Chantelle but left quite early as Al wasn't well. He's had a cough for a day or two but he suddenly got really hot and just flaked out on the sofa.

Got him home and he did the same here. Didn't want any tea and went to bed early, poor thing.

Chris away tomorrow, to the AFM in Santa Monica for a week. Boo :(
