Where There's a Will, There's a Way!

Mr and Mrs Woody, our resident wood pigeons are always on the lookout for food, but they're too big for the bird feeders.  However tonight, they've worked out how to get to the fat balls by sitting on the peanut feeder!   

It was such a shame for them last night and this morning as our weather has been awful - really strong north winds and heavy driving rain.  Their nest is in the bush between us and next door, but the wind was blowing the bush and we could see Mrs Woody sat on the nest and hanging on for all she was worth!

I'd not taken any photographs today due to the weather and didn't even bother to go out at lunch time, so they gave me my blip.
