Devon Side

I went for an early morning walk with Nellie of The woods. As I had a package to post decided to do the walk just over the bridge into Devon and do the Tamar river and wood walk there that is a favourite of mine. It's part of The Tamar trails which takes you through the old copper and tin mining  "wheals" - Cornish for mines! Many of the wheals have  female names, after the owners wife or daughter! As you can see, the water has an orange colour from iron oxide.  It was so peaceful - just the sounds of the birds.
I've not done much walking in this area, there are 25 Km of trails - and Nellie informed me, a cafe! Think I will be doing more walks!
More walk here!
