Defying Gravity

Dear O'H dear and Lovely Tea Jenny,

Mary Doll, The Mini Princesses and I went to see Wicked tonight. It was BRILLIANT. It’s funny, the set is spectacular and their voices are amazing. I just love musicals. I took your advice Lovely Tea Jenny and told Youngest Mini Princess that I was going to sing along. The look on her face was priceless! This is the girl who had spotted me running in the Meadows in the afternoon when she was out with her friends, but opted not to mention it to anyone!

The only odd thing was the taxi driver on the way home who decided that he was going to talk to us. Not in a cheery small talk way but in a really awkward, odd way including the ‘observation’ that Ramadan has started and that it has coincided with Christian Aid week. He mused as to whether this had been done deliberately. WTF? I couldn’t face spoiling a lovely night by explaining why his conspiracy theory was a load of b0llocks. I still wish there was a way to mute some people!
