Tangled

Loving the way this clematis is blooming through the honeysuckle - I'd moved it whilst keeping it's roots in the shade and it's head in the sun as recommended, and it seems to like it's new position! 
I started another long, narrow strip down from the Iris today. At one end it's raspberries and the middle part was strawberries - but there was too much couch grass growing through and the plants were too old to yield good fruit. It's been covered all winter so I thought it would be a quick dig. Ha! Pa!  Nope! Still breaking down each spadeful by hand and removing grass roots and stones - but what a lovely lot of worms there were! Sign of good soil! Can't wait to sow my flower seeds!
