30 Days Wild Day 4 - Common Carder Bee

At least that is what I have identified it as, if anyone knows better please tell me.

Clickychick had business in Carlisle and her studio session fell through so off we went.  Business concluded, we spotted another interesting business so we spent quite some time looking round.

Then off to the garden centre for a coffee.  It doesn't seem possible to visit with out getting a plant.  CC fell in love with a purple and white Iris called Stepping Out.

This was followed up by a walk along the banks of the Caldew at Dalston.  Apart from the exercise we were looking for blips for our 30 Days Wild challenge.  Opportunities abounded.  I have shots of birds flowers and insects.  I found this shot of the Common Carder Bee (Bombus pascuorum) the most pleasing.
