Little Donkey

We’ve had a very lazy day today, and had the first of our two ‘All Inclusive’ days, so we’re staying around the hotel today and tomorrow.

After breakfast we booked a hire car for Wednesday and Thursday, and then went for a walk in the opposite direction to yesterday.  Kolymbia is separated by a rugged headland, with beaches on both sides, so we walked to the other side by road, spotted a little chapel and started walking towards it.  We’d not gone very far when we heard a very loud braying, and I turned to look and saw this donkey tethered up.  I walked back up the dusty hill to see it, and a little boy and his mum were feeding it water melon (see my extra).  It was a really friendly donkey and liked the fuss it was getting.

We then walked to the little chapel, before walking up to the top of the headland where we sat and enjoyed the view.  Back at the hotel we sat and took advantage of our ‘All inclusive’ and had some cold drinks and then went for lunch, because it’s included, not that we were really hungry!  We ordered a ‘free’ bottle of wine, only drank half of it and took the rest to put in our little fridge in the room.  We’re going to make the most of these two days, she’ll be very sorry she tried to pull one over on us, I’m stocking up where I can lol!

Back to our pool for the afternoon, had a swim and a sunbathe and both of us were tired so went and  had a nap, this place is far too relaxing!

Anyway we’re now getting ready for dinner and on our ‘All Inclusive’ we have the choice of three restaurants - normally we can only go to the main restaurant.  Its decisions, decisions though as it’s Asian Night in the main restaurant, which we both love, but I think we should try the other two while we have the chance to, and these are waiter service, not buffet style.
