Pavement Culture

Pausing for a break in the sun today is just what the doctor ordered and by chance I found myself in Wiltshire again. Well, Salisbury is little more than 12 miles from home and I knew there is plenty of opportunity  for taking life al fresco.

For me that is always one of the attractions of eating out or taking a coffee or beer, even a glass of wine,  in mainland Europe where the climate is well suited to a pavement culture.

The city of Salisbury boasts many of the same amenities and when there is a chance of dipping into a bowl of moules and frites at the same time, I am won over.
