Keeping Covered

Dear O'H dear and Lovely Tea Jenny,

The joy of summer. My new office is close to the Meadows so I walked round there with Little John at lunchtime. It was so busy with people having BBQs, playing games and sunbathing. There was such a happy buzz.

We passed Mr Cliche walking his bulldog. He had clearly embraced a ‘taps aff’ approach to the day. All he needed was a flag adorning his scarlet shoulders!

I am relieved, however, that ‘taps aff’ is as far as it goes. When you told me Lovely Tea Jenny that some people in Munich went out with their colleagues at lunchtime and sunbathed naked together, I actually googled it in disbelief.

I would take a rainy summer anytime if that was the alternative!
