I'm forever blowing bubbles

You can't beat a good old fashioned jar of bubble-maker to keep children amused - for a while anyway.
Last night's Village Show was brilliant. Everybody had aching sides and faces with all the laughing - after all it was billed as "An evening of Jollity, Joviality and Jocundity". There was also plenty of music - we obviously have some very talented people in the area as all of the entertainment was provided by local people. 
Today some old friends who live in the village that we moved from in Warwickshire came to see us, as they were in the area,  and we walked to a local pub where we enjoyed an excellent lunch. It was lovely to see them again. Meanwhile our family drove down to Beer and spent the day by and in the sea.
