North Coast Day
Up at a reasonable time and the four of us headed over to Smokey Joes for the ’Megga’ Breakfast, nothing quite like a high fat, high chloresterol start to the day.
Then on to Chapel Porth, normally a quiet small NT beach it has gained a following in recent times hence a full car park.
A small token beach clean before heading off to the more familiar Gwithian NT car park where again the numbers meant we were in the overflow car park.
We climbed down to the beach and taking advantage of the low tide walked along the beach until we almost made Hayle.
On the return leg we stayed closer to the high tide mark and had quite a respectable haul of plastic waste from our beach clean by the time we reached Sunset Beach Cafe for the now obligatory coffee.
On to Sennen Cove for a mediocre pizza before following the south coast route home.
Tired it was a quiet hour or two slumped in front of the TV before bed.
