I'm exhausted.  First day of new job, it's been interesting.... There's a huge amount to do and a lot to learn, but I think it is going to be good. 

Had terrible 'mummy guilt' about leaving the boys and really missed them.  Hurts that they will spend almost all of their waking hours with other people - but I do get 10 weeks holiday a year, so it's hardly all bad.  Had snack time with the boys when we got home and this little chap was on his usual good form.  

Early night tonight - and the husband has just made me a hot chocolate to have in bed.  Well done him.
