Faith restored

An early (ish) morning coffee and pastry restored some faith in Greek food before we bravely set off into the unknown following in the steps of Odysseus to Ithica and beyond.
Lunch and a swim off a small beach was a prelude to fighting our way into a busy Kalamos harbour helped by harbourmaster George. A minor anchor issue was a presage of things to come. As can be seen in the photo, George was also Taverna owner - George Town might be a better name than Kalamos.
The evening meal provided a very marine setting and more encouragement about Greek cooking if the harbour itself had a crowded and scruffy air. We enjoyed the cockroaches living in a hole in the wall just to the right of Tricia's head.
