The Valley

The view across the valley in which we are located. We were up early for a short bike ride before breakfast. The track was a bit rough to begin with but got smoother as we went on. It was interesting to see the small holdings with goats and chickens, and to see the vegetables and fruit they were growing. I wonder how much they are self sufficient and to what extent they rely on local shops for food and supplies. No doubt there is sharing of produce between households.
