No, I shall not pose for you I shall sulk! Me and Florence we have been shut in our bedroom most of the day, in fact, most of the week and we are fed up and will not pose.

Gary from City Plumbing in Saffron Walden delivered the new hot water cylinder last night. This morning it was discovered that the specially made cylinder, to the height we asked for, was three centimetres too tall; it will not fit! I am leaving my husband to deal with them! On the plus side the plumber has arrived to gas test the boiler and change the pipework that was not quite how it should have been. Even he had to go out again to get the parts needed. Then it was discovered that he could not test the boiler!
 
The old leaking cylinder was removed by my husband and the fault was found and thought to have been cured, once back in situ, it was not so. At that point I decided that the condensing boiler was coming out and I would purchase a new combi boiler, which is what we had thought we would be installing in the first place. That means that, eventually, the new kitchen can be fitted exactly as it should be. Everyone has gone away and City Plumbers will bring the new boiler tomorrow afternoon. We now have to wait for everything to be rescheduled. I hope it will not be too long as we have no sink or drain, no washing machine or dishwasher and we have bits of the new kitchen all over the kitchen area, dining room and conservatory. 
 
Everyone has gone and hopefully tomorrow we will be able to do nothing except deal with Gary who is personally bringing the new boiler. I do not have any tutorials booked for the rest of the week, but I do have to go and get my flu injection in the morning.
