Disco Inferno

Busy Weegie day out. No 2 was dancing at the Sick Kids Fair which is always a great pre-Christmas weekend and 'fair' gets me in the mood. Lovely to see how much the girls enjoyed themselves.

A very interesting conversation with a fellow colleague who had some bad job news delivered to her by way of a security guard last week. After 28 years service - she was escorted to her car and hasn't yet been allowed back to remove her personal belongings and emails. She said she felt like a criminal. It made me very angry....28 years !!! and you weren't even given the decency of saying goodbye to colleagues. I can't say the word here - but it starts with a 'b' and you know what I'm thinking!

We followed this with another Christmas fair at our local Golf Club (which had the added advantage of serving food and beer !).

Oh dear....! Ladies be warned - - don't drink on a Sunday evening - it has completely RUINED my normal overwhelming desire to iron - the only desire I have now is to slump in the corner with my book and a wee Chardonnay !
