Party!
I dozed till 10am! Then I roused myself, and put the clock back to the proper time - 9am - not quite so louche...
Didn’t quite rouse myself enough to go to the gym, but we did go up the hill, and I left Archie and JR to walk back home, while I drove back. In the car park I saw this wee beauty (Extra).
We were going to a ''Puppies and Prosecco' party, so Archie had a new outfit. We tried it on him, and he stood stock still and refused to move for ages. But we persisted, and when he was up the hill, gambolling about, he forgot about it. But we did feel we had to explain to curious folk why he had a bow tie on while merely out for a walk.
The doggie party was upstairs, and we got a good seat by the window. A 'free' glass of Prosecco and plenty of free doggie treats. And we had a free warm gin cocktail in a half pint mug (not full). There were some sights! Lots of the dogs had gone to a lot of trouble with their outfits. It was fun chatting to owners. Archie and Rufus were very good and very patient. There was one wee Jack Russel dressed as a shark who trotted round, visiting, all afternoon. There were a few yappy dogs, but Archie said nothing. We stayed rather longer than intended and had another bottle of Prosecco... and stopped in Rose Street for a meal - fish and chips. I think that's me done with fish'n'chips for a while, after two days in a row...
