Full Circle

Ofcourse I took more than one shot during the last days in the olive fields and factory and at the brewer's all them situated in the village some 35 kms from home in Chania. And rather than adding one of today's from here in Chania, I prefer this one of the shepard who collected yesterday at the olive oil factory the leafs blown off by the machine that cleans the olives from their leafs before the olives are processed for their olive oil.
This shepard collects the leafs to feed his sheep on now that Winter is coming... a perfect full circle of usage of all that comes forth from the olive tree ~ not a thing is wasted!

The olive oil we had made is Delicious! a piece of fresh bread dipped in that fresh olive oil and a drop of lemon on top of that all tipped off with a little salt is all one can ask for! 

November 9th is the day that in 1989 during its eve the Iron Wall fell in Berlin what was followed by the revolt against communism in all East European countries... so many historic events on these days of November... end of WW I and Russian Revolution... all 1 century ago ~  they cling in to my thoughts these days too, apart from the joy over the olive oil ~  Enjoy your Weekend!
