Boat at Crooie Taing
It's been a fine day with plenty of sunshine, and a breeze. Gales picked up about teatime, but calmed down again.
I've been working on the museum desk all day again, and a fairly quiet day. Sad news came today, Cathy, my next door neighbour passed away this morning, thoughts are with the family. I've been doing a talk tonight for the Lerwick History Group, showing photos from the Robbie Young collection. Not the biggest turn out, but the group loved it and very involved. Mam was there, so we had a cuppa after and a walk about town. Walkies with Sammy, and then feet up.
It wasn't overly sunny in Lerwick, so I headed south for my lunchtime walk. Parked up and headed over the fields to this old shed and boat. The boat must have been here for years, the rot has set in, but it adds great character to the beach. Taken at Crooie Taing, West Voe, Quarff.
