Fremlins Walk

It took a while to get today’s blip of the bustling Fremlins Walk from upstairs at Waterstones. Whenever I went upstairs there were people lingering over coffee who would not move despite my attempts at trying to infiltrate their minds.

I tried a couple of other locations and was about to give up but went for one last look. Result, they must have felt uncomfortable and felt forced to move.

Fremlins Walk contrasts markedly with Jubilee Square which boasts a meagre Christmas tree and a few lights. The extra shows the tree provided by the Council and must rate as the poorest, meanest Christmas tree in and town in the land. (Unless you Know differently) Jubilee Square, the supposedly focus of the town was bare, nothing of Christmas spirit to be seen.

I’d dearly love to see the municipal trees in your place! Even Bearsted’s tree looks good and the decorations at least on a par with those from Maidstone Council.
