One of Those Mums...

OK enough now. Time to come home husband. We are officially fed up....

Postponed a day trip to my Grandma's today due to snow warnings but the snow never came so we were pretty much stuck indoors (with the heating on). We did manage a mulled wine in the Horse & Jockey with our neighbour Jane and her cute son Mack (see pic of Mack and Audrey). Sadly, we paid the price though aa Audrey missed her afternoon nap, got over-tired and refused to eat her solids and we had tears before (a pulled forward) bedtime as a result!

I always said I wouldn't be One of Those Mums that would be house-bound as they followed a strict nap/feed routine. But the problem is Audrey will only sleep in her cot or a moving pram/car which does limit our options somewhat.

And believe me I have tried to throw caution to the wind (like today) and I always pay the price with a screaming, over-tired baby. No-one told me about that bit when I claimed (pregnant and naive) that I wouldn't e One of Those Mums now did they!!!
