Happy Birthday To You!

This morning at 09.22 Esmée Cecilia was born to our youngest son and his wife, aka here as J & A. A long labour but so patiently endured and with a beautiful outcome, and we are all so delighted!. So grateful too. Sophia is delighted to have her first cousin, and that it’s a girl! Even Esmée’s mummy and daddy didn’t know that!

This afternoon we had the privilege of meeting her! The journey to Cambridge in almost rush hour traffic was absolutely well worth it!

The birthing rooms at Addenbrooke’s Hospital are really 5*. A birthing pool in each room, a double bed, en-suite facilities...the NHS have really come up trumps.

What a very special day it has been!
