Surfer's Revenge
All those wonderful pictures you see of surfers getting pounded by huge waves often cover the inevitable shredding they get as they are tumbled across coral reefs.
These days coral collecting is frowned upon. In 1982 it wasn't and local Malay villagers would sell what they collected while diving for fish and pearls.
If you can look large and then zoom in you should be able to make out the skeleton structure of the coral, some of the strongest formations known, yet fragile when knocked.
Rant x 2...................
We bought Fang, the mother in law a walking stick. She is becoming frail, refuses to accept she is ageing, remains glamorous and attractive whilst being as mad as a mongoose. The stick is Leopard Print! She phoned this afternoon, thanked me profusely and when I asked how she was getting on with the stick she said, "I have put it away for when I get old." She's 80 bloody 2!!!!!!!!! I'll kill her if she hurts herself!
Tom (the 8th dwarf) Cruise is an inch shorter than me. He is the film version of Lee Child's Jack Reacher.
To me that is akin to giving Graham Norton the part of Stormin' Norman Schwarzkopf in the film of the Iraq invasion!
More meds needed.
