A Cool And Beautiful Day...

If yesterday was hot, today was wonderful!   The temp dropped down to low 50's last night and low70's all day today!   The sky was blue, a little breezy, dry air and soooo comfortable!
    The girls got out for a long, wild walk in a huge field where they ran and ran for almost an hour. On the way back we went by the mail center and saw the tractor there, using it's backhoe to dig up large rocks and men out with chainsaws cutting down some Crepe Myrtles that were between 12 to 15 ft tall!.   Other men were there with a truck, loading up all the limbs and trunks, raking the sand back and around the rocks had been!
      I stop to speak with one of the workers that was holding the group of people out and away from the backing tractor so no one would get hurt.  he explained to me the Friendship Village (the neighborhood where I live) has been slated for all new landscaping which involves the Gazebo, the mail center, the Friendship Loop and the walking trail, the division gate and a few other areas.   
     I was told we are getting new hedges, fences, shrubs, and flowering plants all around.    Well..... right now it's dusty and hot around the mail center.  We will have to see what happens.
