Vandalism

It was monsoon rain during the night and when PD arrived.
We waited until just before 8am to go out and found it was down to a drizzle.
There was a quite a bit of flooding though and the first shot in the extras shows the water demonstrating why this tree was felled.
When we got to the point where the damned bikers have been cutting into the banking I stopped and took some more pictures of the damage they have done. The 2nd extra shows where last nights rain has taken advantage  and cut a small river bed which is going to increase the speed of erosion.
I have sent an e-mail to the Council with pictures so we will wait and see what happens...……… probably nothing.

By the time we had got half way round the walk, the rain had stopped.
5 minutes after we got home, the rain started again.
It had 'nearly' stopped for the lunch time walk but we had to change our route due to the flooded paths - which meant PD took the huff and onlt had a short walk.

Late afternoon saw us visiting Jo to give the twins their birthday presents. 5 years old already! How did that happen?
It was while we were there that PD's owners (the kids grandparents)arrived for the same reason that we were there.
That was when we found out that PD is coming to stay from tomorrow until Monday.
It turns out SWMBO had got a message about it a few weeks ago and forgot to put it in the diary.

This evening it was up to the golf club for a craft association meeting and then down to the camera club for the second half of the evening. Some of my slide shows seemed to go down quite well.
