Cliches are always so comforting in these situations. And let’s be honest, this “debate” has been conducted in a pretty low tone, so why not?

British politics is broken. For myself I think we need to bring back concepts such as stewardship, statesmanship and leadership. All sadly lacking. As for leaving the E.U. it was a bad idea then and it is a worse one now.
