Gales and Sunshine

The gales continue to batter the isles, but mostly sunny all day.  There has been the odd cloud, and a quick shower in the morning.

Woken up at 6am this morning, with some bad news.  It's sounding slightly better as the day went on, and still waiting to hear.   Walkies with Sammy cleared thoughts, and then headed into the garden.  I've been clearing a spot for my veggie patch.  I managed to get two loads of washing out too.  A run in the car with Sammy this afternoon.  Mam and dad popped by for tea.  The Scalloway hall is doing fish and chips for a local charity.  Off to see friends later.

With the wild day, me and Sammy headed up north a run to see some big waves crashing in.  We had a seriously breezy clifftop walk along the banks at Eshaness, and got sprayed with salt water, and then we headed in land for a walk.  This is looking to the Tangwick Haa, with some muckle waves crashing over Da Drongs sea stacks behind.
