Cairo Lamp

I bought this lamp on our previous stay here in Khan al Khalili souk , but hadn't been using it as the cable wasn’t long enough to put it where we wanted it. It's not ideal here on the dressing table, but at least it's in use and I like the reflections in the mirror.

A quiet day here, spent in the flat. I did a couple of hours of Aptis in the morning, then some preparation for the week, had different music on all day, chatted with Bb. I must say it's very nice having three-day weekends! Having to do some work doesn't seem quite so bad if you know you have three days.
