More wood staining/preserving at Amber Nook.   The first day of the year where I have felt "shirt sleeve order" was acceptable.   So warm and sunny.   Well above the required 8º C dictated by the tin of preservative.

The shape and greens of the tulip bud appealed so that's the blip.   The alternative would have been entitled "It's a what?".   I think it was intended to be a daffodil but any resemblance to the original wild variety was purely coincidental.
