Tricky Explanation

Dear O'H dear and Lovely Tea Jenny,

I had to call the joiner who fitted our back door to ask him to come and fix it. When I explained what had happened, there was a bit of a stunned silence before I had to assure him that I was definitely not joking. I’m not sure he’d heard “A dog ate my door” before.

He advised taping it at the moment to protect against rain damage so I asked The Prince to pick some tape up if he passed a hardware store.

I got a text half way through the day...

“I've got the duck tape”

I actually laughed out loud at my desk. I’m glad no one at work saw that message!
