A day trip to Sheffield to meet up with a pal, Jenny, and a wander round the city. We started at the Winter Gardens where they had the mini studio set up for the presenters of the World Snooker Champs, which is being played over the road at the Crucible. There's an extra of that, though sadly I didn't manage to get one of Stephen Hendry and John Parrott who were to the left of the shot.

Also, I saw a bottlebrush plant in the Winter Gardens, which was a coincidence because I commented on a photo that annejohn had Blipped a few days ago of a Bottlebrush hedge as I'd never seen one before. There's a thing!
