Can't knit ? She can now!

We had a new group in the village today - called the Pink Chair Engagement!
The Idea is to 'pop up' in various open spaces in the village, take chairs and some sort of craft, and see who stops to talk !  The hope is that it will encourage people to make use of the open spaces in the area and to talk to each other. There were 5 of us today  - see extra - and some people who stopped to talk were a couple with their dog and 10 year old daughter. The girl was interested and asked if she could stay. Within half an hour she had learnt to knit! She wants to come next time - she could learn crochet or quilting if the same people are there.
