Clueless

Dear O'H dear and Lovely Tea Jenny,

It’s a prerequisite for any cycling event that you have to take a spare inner tube and bike pump in case of punctures so I went to the bike shop to get them. A very helpful bike mechanic told me what I needed to get and fitted the pump onto my bike, although I did tell him that I wouldn’t have a clue how to actually change an inner tube*. I also asked if he wouldn’t mind checking over my bike. Thankfully I hadn’t noticed the sign stating that they don’t accommodate walk in. I’m sure it had #amateurweek on my receipt!

We made chocolate Guinness cake and banana bread today. That was Saturday night sorted!
