Red Campion on da Croft

A breezy day, and really windy tonight.  The cloudy morning cleared, and a mostly sunny day.

I've had to cover at the Croft House Museum again today.  As soon as I got the fire lit, the visitors started to arrive, and been non stop all day.  Walkies with Sammy this evening, and we headed up the hill from our house.  It was really windy on the hills!  Off to work in the pub later.

There was a very light shower when I headed out at lunchtime, thankfully it passed quickly, and I managed to get a walk.  I has been investigating some old derelict croft houses and outbuildings, and everywhere I looked, there was red campion.  I love them, and have some in my garden, never sure if they are a flower or a weed.  Not only me that loves them, the bees and butterflies do too.  Taken at Exnaboe, Dunrossness.
